Welcome Dr. Malhotra

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Rashim Malhotra to the Ruberto Lab as a Postdoctoral Research Associate.
Dr. Malhotra earned her PhD in Dr. Krishanpal Karmodiya’s laboratory at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, India. Her doctoral research focused on RNA biology and gene regulation in Plasmodium falciparum, particularly the role of RNA-mediated mechanisms in parasite adaptation to stress.
She recently published a study titled “Sense-Antisense RNA duplexes mediate stress-responsive translational control in Plasmodium falciparum” in the journal RNA (DOI: 10.1261/rna.081149.126).
