The Ruberto Lab Officially Launches!

We are excited to announce the official launch of the Ruberto Laboratory on May 1, 2026, in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Florida State University College of Medicine!
The Ruberto Lab investigates eukaryotic parasites responsible for diseases of major public health importance. By integrating parasitology, functional genomics, and drug discovery, we aim to uncover mechanisms of parasite survival and drug resistance and identify new therapeutic strategies.
We look forward to building a collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment, mentoring the next generation of scientists, and sharing our discoveries as the laboratory grows.
